FD-13-RP-2 - Captain Beefheart - Mouse & Kelley Signed - 1966 Poster - Avalon Ballroom - Excellent

This is a second-print concert poster for Captain Beefheart and His Magic Band, featuring the Oxford Circle, which took place at the Avalon Ballroom on Friday and Saturday, June 17-18, 1966. Known as FD-13 in the Family Dog numbered series.

The artwork was created by Stanley Mouse (early signature) and Alton Kelley, both of whom signed the poster in pencil. This poster originated from Alton Kelley's collection, and he signed a note on the reverse side, stating, "To Marguerite Love Kelley."The poster is in excellent condition, with bends in the lower right corner, toning, a small bend in the bottom left corner, and some light handling. 

The second Print of the poster was printed on uncoated index stock and measures approximately 14⅜” x 20”.
