Can You Pass the Acid Test - 1965/1966 - Original Card - Merry Pranksters - Grateful Dead - Near Mint Minus

That was the big question. Can You Pass the Acid Test? You didn't know unless you tried. Take this out and prove you were a "card carrying member." This original card from late 1965/1966 produced by Ken Kesey’s Merry Pranksters asked the important question on the front and has spaces for vital info such as name, address, eye color, and weight, as well as a spot to paste your photo. The quote where you sign it reads, "I am a member of Intrepid Trips, Inc.” The card measures about 3 1/2” x 2”. It exhibits some modest toning or acidity around the edges, but the corners and edges are quite sharp. We’ll call it near mint minus. Nice play on the old Uncle Sam wartime ad “I WANT YOU”!
