AUCTION - The Beatles - "The Fool" Apple Records - 1967 Poster - Very Good

There is a truly rare poster from Apple Publishing in London, England. Dutch artist team Simon and Marijke do an elaborately psychedelic collaboration on this piece. Titled, "The Fool", the poster also references Apple itself. The only writing on the piece is "A is for", leading right to an apple that does double duty as planet Earth. Very trippy and ambitious, really. This poster design is identical to a mural which was painted by Simon and Marijke on the front of the Apple store boutique in London. Wonderfully bright and varied palette with lots of intricate detail. Guaranteed to look good on your wall. Complete with a guilt border, no less. This rather large, very scarce Apple Publishing poster measures 20 5/8" x 27 1/2", approximately. The condition is very good, with a tear that has been mended on reverse at lower center right, handling throughout, tape stains on the gold border at left, some tack holes, and several tears have been mended on the reverse with Scotch tape. The poster has printing credits on the reverse which say Apple Publishing, the artist names, and the title of the piece. All in all, the poster looks very nice. Also very rare.
