AUCTION - Muir Beach - God Mother - Hand Colored - 1966 Handbill - Excellent

This hand-colored, original concert handbill is for a show held at Muir Beach in beautiful Marin County, CA. Just across the Golden Gate Bridge, Muir Beach is an idyllic place for a show. This gig featured the Tiny Hearing Aid Co., with God Mother Country opening up the show. Billed as a "Dog Ball Foot Dance", the show was a benefit for an unidentified cause. One dollar got you onto the beach and an additional quarter dollar got you spaghetti and bread! And free lemonade to wash it all down. The show took place on April 7, 1967. This item comes from the same collection as another Muir Beach handbill from 1966, also featured in this auction. They appear to be hand colored by the same artist. Please take a look. This rare handbill measures 4 1/4" x 5 7/16" and is in Near Mint Minus condition, with only light handling.
