AUCTION - Hambly Studios - Psychedelic Black Light - 1960s Poster - Very Good

This rather rare psychedelic head shop poster is from Hambly studios out of Santa Clara, CA in the south Bay area. Hambly Studios made a small series (approximately 20) of very trippy blacklight silkscreen posters, printed on heavy poster stock with quality workmanship throughout. The red and blue vibrates intensely under light and the bust of an ancient bearded soldier really jumps off the paper. As far as head shop posters are concerned, Hambly Studios were Top Notch. They stand the test of time and have come into their own recently, and rightfully so. 

This fine example of late 60s psychedelic head shop black light art measures 17 1/2" x 23" and is in Very Good condition, with staple holes at all four corners, as well as top and bottom center, tape stains, an edge tear at the upper right, handling from having been rolled, the original owner wrote his name in blue pencil at the bottom left and on reverse center (not visible from front). Turn on your black light and stand back!
