AUCTION - Grateful Dead - Lesh & Kreutzmann Signed - Danny Rifkin - 1966 Check - Near Mint

A Grateful Dead payroll check from the band's first official house at 710 Ashbury, dated November 16, 1966, and made out to their manager, Danny Rifkin, for twenty dollars. Two days later, the Dead played a two-show run at the Fillmore (BG-38). Signed by Phil Lesh and Bill Kreutzmann on the front, and endorsed by Grateful Dead manager Danny Rifkin on the verso. Both signatures in blue ink. The check shows the usual cancellation marks.

The check measures 7.75" x 3" and is in Near Mint condition.
