AUCTION - Freedom Highway - Western Front - 1967 Silkscreen Poster - Excellent

This hand-silkscreened poster is from the short-lived, San Francisco venue, the Western Front. Printed in September 1967, the poster features a bunch of talent. The Other Half, Freedom Highway and Peace, along with the New Delhi River Band and Mad River added on Saturday. Plus a "Magic Medicine Show" to liven things up. We've only seen a couple of other examples of this poster before. Because they were hand silk-screened, each one had a completely different color scheme. This one is hot Day-Glo pink with a splash of orange that stands out. Very cool. The piece measures 12" x 17 5/16". This original, hand-silkscreened poster is in excellent condition, with corner bends and light handling throughout. Never put up. Not many were made.
