AUCTION - FD-4 - Love Charlatans - 1966 Handbill - Fillmore Auditorium - Near Mint

This especially rare Family Dog handbill is FD 4 in the Family Dog Series. Featuring Love, the Sons of Adam, and the Charlatans performed on April 8–9, 1966. This is early stuff. The show was held at the Fillmore Auditorium at the time with Bill Graham and Chet Helms managing to share the space. This is the last Family Dog show ever at the Fillmore. The artwork is by heavyweight Wes Wilson. He found a great piece of clip art with a pair dancing in their night clothes. This was fitting, for the show was billed by Chet Helms as a "Rock And Roll Dance". This early, fantastic-looking handbill measures 5 7/16" x 8 1/2". The piece is in Near Mint condition.
