AUCTION - Boston Tea Party - Illwind Hallucinations - 1967 Handbill - Very Good

This is a very rare handbill up for auction from the illustrious Boston, MA. nightclub, the Boston Tea Party. Seems like just about everybody played there at one time or another. Astonishing, really, and the accompanying posters for these shows comprise a great body of work. Here we have a handbill by F. Murphy from June 16, 17, 1966. Illwind were the headliners, with Boston's own, The Hallucinations opening up the show. The Hallucinations, some of you might recall, contained members of the future J. Geils Band. Seminal stuff to be sure. F. Murphy did a lovely job with this piece, elegant and still trippy. The handbill measures approximately 7 1/4" x 13". The piece is in Very Good condition, with a set of staple holes in each corner, a single pinhole at the top and bottom center, and edge tear at the upper left and right center edge, plus light handling and bending. Still presents very well.
