AUCTION - BG-69 - Jimi Hendrix - 1967 Poster - Fillmore Auditorium - Excellent

This is the first and only printing of a concert poster for the Jefferson Airplane, featuring Hungarian jazz guitarist Gabor Szabo and an unknown Jimi Hendrix. The event took place at the Fillmore Auditorium during an unusually long run from Tuesday through Sunday, June 20-25, 1967.

Known as BG-69 in the Bill Graham numbered series, this poster promotes Hendrix's first "regular" concerts in the U.S., following only his appearance at the Monterey Pop Festival. The poster measures 14" x 22".

Condition: Excellent, with a bend in the lower right corner and some tape and tape pulls on the reverse side.
