AUCTION - BG-165 - Janis Joplin - Randy Tuten Signed - 1969 Poster - Winterland/Fillmore West - Excellent

Here is a San Francisco concert poster for Janis Joplin "& Her Band," now in her solo career, playing for three nights at Winterland on Thursday-Saturday, March 20-22, 1969, and a final night on Sunday at the smaller Fillmore West. This colorful poster was designed by Randy Tuten and D. Bread. And then three lovely color photos of Janis adorning the juke box's front were taken by esteemed photographer Jim Marshall. This poster is known as BG-165 in the Bill Graham numbered poster series. Randy Tuten has signed this poster in silver ink.
Measures 14 1/8" x 21 1/8". In excellent condition with light corner edge wear, tape pull and residue along the top edge on the verso.
