AUCTION - AOR 2.230 - Grope For Peace - 1967 Poster - Straight Theater - Very Good

Offered is the original poster created to promote the 2nd Annual Grope For Peace concert, presented at the Straight Theater in San Francisco on December 26, 1967. This bold, graphically powerful poster, printed in Christmas red & green, was designed by the late Rick Griffin and is pictured in The Art of Rock, plate 2.230 on page 202. The offered example measures approx. 19" x 27" and is in Very Good condition with a corner tip missing, a bend in the bottom right, and a bit of edge wear in the lower left. That said, the piece retains its original bright colors and would frame beautifully.
