Fantastic, classic original concert handbill from the Matrix nightclub in San Francisco, CA. The band is Big Brother and the Holding Company featuring Janis Joplin. The show dates are April 25–27, 1967. Art is by Leidenthal. Pictured prominently in the Art of Rock book on page 163, plate 2.110. No poster was ever printed, only a handbill. This one measures 8 1/2“ x 11“.  The condition is near mint. The piece has a light corner chip push in the upper left corner. A real beauty.
