The design features the iconic “Skull and Roses” motif at the center, anchored by stylized “GD” initials and the bold “On the Road” header. This legendary imagery also served as the cover art for the 1979 Grateful Dead Anthology, the band's first official songbook.

This specific piece comes directly from the estate of artist Alton Kelley. It is uniquely signed on the front in silver ink and features a personal dedication on the reverse: “To Marguerite, Love, Kelley.” Measuring approximately 18 1/4" x 28 1/4", this rare collector's item is in Excellent condition with only light handling. A truly significant artifact for any devoted Deadhead or poster collector.
