This promotional poster for Absolut Vodka is by the late Alton Kelley and it's offered here for auction. Absolut Vodka ran a highly visible ad campaign in the 1990s, which featured a plethora of artists delivering their impressions of a vodka bottle. Billboards all over featured their work. "Absolut", followed usually by the artist name (Absolut Kelley, e.g.) Was the way the brand was promoted. In this case, Kelley made an "Absolut Cleveland", for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Ohio in 1998. Printed on thin glossy stock, the piece shows off Kelley's amazing ability. As a bonus, Alton Kelley has hand-signed this poster in silver nuk on the front and to his wife Marguerite in pen on the reverse. This piece comes from the personal collection of Alton Kelley. The poster measures 22 1/2" x 30". This Alton Kelley promotional poster is in Near Mint Minus condition, with only the merest amount of handling. Exceptionally clean for a poster on thin, glossy stock.
