Offered here is a very scarce original underground newspaper from Philadelphia, PA.. called Yarrowstalks. This is the #1 issue and is a first edition. This paper features the first appearance of the world-famous character created by Robert Crumb " Mr. Natural ". He would go on to sell millions of comics, but this is the debut. There is also a two-page interview with Dr. Timothy Leary "...on the porch of the main house of the Hitchcock Cattle Ranch, a 5000-acre tract in Millbrook, NY. The house is closed because Dr. Leary and the members of the League for Spiritual Discovery (LSD) are living in the woods. We asked Dr. Leary why ". Besides the Mr. Natural strip, there are two illustrations plus another strip all by Crumb! Lots of other trippy artwork, articles throughout. Measures approx. 1 1/4" X 16 1/2". In Excellent Condition. Has light edge wear and folded as published.
