mmfgAn original 1977 first printing of the scarce Sex Pistols cartoon promo poster, issued by Warner Bros. Records in conjunction with the U.S. release of Never Mind the Bollocks, Here’s the Sex Pistols.  This poster, with artwork by Mark Jay, purports to tell the story of the band up to the release of Bollocks, with four blank panels at the end and instructions to “Fill in the rest of this strip yourself as future events crop up…Sometime in November, Warner Bros. Records takes a shot with the Pistols first LP out in the USA At Last!).

It measures 16″ x 23 1/2″, in excellent condition, with a single tack hole in three corners one with two tack holes, two horizontal bends across the top, another light bend that goes from the bottom right corner up to the center, a small piece of tape residue on the back., machine folded as it was originally sent out.  The bands are hard to see on this poster.
