AUCTION - The Doors - Gary Grimshaw Signed - 1968 Poster - Cobo Arena - Good

An original first-printing concert poster for The Doors, featuring their performance at the iconic Cobo Arena in Detroit, Michigan, on the night of Saturday, May 11, 1968. The opening acts included the James Cotton Blues Band and The Crazy World of Arthur Brown. This poster has been signed by the renowned Motor City graphic artist Gary Grimshaw in elegant silver pen.

This is the first time in many years that we have been able to offer this elusive poster, which is popular for its haunting imagery of Jim Morrison, unique blue and black coloring, and overall rarity.  

The poster is in good condition, though it has some bends, staple holes, small tears, and is missing the bottom corners. There is a tape pull on the back. The poster measures 13" x 22".
