AUCTION - The Ark - 1968 Poster - Sausalito - Near Mint Minus

his highly unusual and incredibly scarce original concert poster is from the North Bay.  Namely Sausalito, CA., and the legendary venue, the Ark. "Open All Nite"the Ark was, and it says so right on the poster! Headliners were Linn County, followed by Indian Head Band, All Men Joy, and the Womb. Show dates were June 14–16, 1968. Super quirky black-and-white artwork, with a particularly cool Rorschach test-looking, feel to it. Very fascinating, uncredited work. This original poster from 1968 measures 11 5/8" x 17 1/2". The condition is Near Mint Minus, with some light handling in the corners and a tiny stain at the center-right. Super nice piece. Never put up. This is the first one of these we have seen in 30 years!
