AUCTION - Steve Miller - Continental Ballroom - 1967 Poster - Excellent

This pretty poster is for a pair of shows held in Santa Clara, CA., about an hour south of San Francisco. The headliner was the Miller Blues Band, featuring Steve Miller of course. Openers were southern California's favorite Kaleidoscope (with David Lindley) and Anonymous Artists of America. The Continental Ballroom is the venue for this dance concert and the groovy artwork is by the mysteriously named Grasshopper. It has a wonderfully vibrant color scheme with a bit of a floral motif going on. The poster measures 16" X 22 3/4". The piece is in Excellent condition, with handling throughout, writing on the reverse, a pair of light horizontal folds, a couple of corner bands, and edge wear. Presents well and the colors remain vibrant and true.
