Here’s an unusual concert poster from San Francisco. The venue is a little known place in the Mission District called Carlos’s. Carlos was a private club, available for rental. Here we have the club being turned into “The Psychedelic Center “, open from noon to six AM. The main act was The Fat Hummingbird and His Back-Up Band. Talk about a great band name! The artwork is by Bevi Stabler and the poster was printed in 1966. Done in a gorgeous purple and orange on a white background, the piece has been given the full-on 1966 psychedelic treatment, naked ladies, and all. This poster is a real slice of the mid-sixties, and it measures 14” X 20" looks fabulous, with the color scheme working overtime. This poster is in ”Near Mint condition.
