AUCTION - The Police - 1979 Concert Poster - Madam Wong's LA - Excellent

This awesome poster from 1979 advertises a live broadcast of a concert by the soon-to-be superstars, the Police. The concert took place at the iconic Madam Wong's in Los Angeles, California. It was broadcast on both KXLU in Los Angeles and KSPC in Claremont, reaching most of the Southern West Coast on May 18th, 1979. The show is billed as "The Police Raid Madame Wong's" and was produced by A&M Records. The artwork is uncredited and includes great photos of the band members. The concert poster measures 14" x 22" and is in excellent condition, as it has never been displayed and comes rolled, with some associated bending at the bottom due to handling. This is a super early poster from the Police's first American tour.
