 In 1967, photographer Richard Avedon photographed all four Beatles and then psychedelicized them to be published by magazines in the United States, Germany, and England in 1968. This is the German version of John Lennon that was available through Stern Magazine. The poster measures approximately 25 1/2“ x 18 1/2“. The poster has been professionally linen backed with a 1” border. The use of archival linen backing is to protect and preserve the artwork. The poster was printed on a thin glossy stock and, as a result, most have significant handling. It should be noted that linebacking is an expensive proposition, typically costing about $125 per poster. This poster is in stunning near mint/mint condition. Many consider the Lennon poster the best & most desirable of the lot. A wonderful piece of Beatles memorabilia.
