AUCTION - Janis Joplin Big Brother - Benefit For Peace - UCSF - 1967 Concert Poster - Near Mint Minus

This is an original first-printing concert poster from San Francisco, advertising a benefit show at Steninger Auditorium at UCSF (University of California, San Francisco) on the evening of Saturday, March 4, 1967.

The Steve Miller Blues Band is the headlining act, with Big Brother and the Holding Company listed right below them. Both bands are illustrated in a somewhat distorted, psychedelic style. Third-billed musician Robert Baker is mentioned just above the date and time. The poster artist is credited simply as "Krefting," and the event is titled "Journey to the End of Night" in striking dark pink lettering.

The poster measures 13 3/4" x 18 3/4" and is in Near Mint Minus condition, with only a few small edge dings in the upper right corner.
