AUCTION - Iron Butterfly - 1970 Poster - Charleston, WV - Excellent

For auction is a rare poster from Charleston, West Virginia featuring Iron Butterfly and Mind Garage performing at the Charleston Civic Center on April 18th, 1970. The show was promoted by local radio station WKAZ and the Lashinsky Bros. The poster is designed in a classic Split-Fountain style with uncredited artwork, including great headshots of the band. Lead singer and organist Doug Ingle, known for his iconic organ solo in the hit "In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida," recently passed away. The poster measures 13 7/8" X 21 7/8" and is in Excellent condition, but it's mounted on cardboard stock. It's a rare find from West Virginia and a true beauty, as we haven't come across one in over 30 years.
