This is a first printing of an Allen Ginsberg poster. The Human Be-In was an event held in the Polo Fields of Golden Gate Park, San Francisco, on January 14, 1967. It served as a prelude to the Summer of Love, which transformed the Haight-Ashbury district into a symbol of American counterculture and introduced the word "psychedelic" to suburban America. The poster was designed by Dick Moore for Lorin Gillette and features a photomontage prominently featuring Allen Ginsberg, along with smaller images of hippies, peace protesters, and others.

The poster is in very good condition, measuring 18" x 21". It has a single tack hole in each corner, some toning, handling wear, bends in the upper corners, and slight scuffing in the upper left corner.
