AUCTION - Grateful Dead - Warner Brothers - 1970 Promo Poster - Excellent

This is a fantastic Grateful Dead promotional poster printed in 1970 by their record company, Warner Brothers. It features an outstanding photo of the band members, with Pigpen confidently front and center. The shot is fairly close up, giving a real portrait/headshot feel for each musician. There's a certain seriousness to this piece, it feels earnest, intent, and focused, almost like a group mugshot, but with purpose, with Pigpen at the core. This promotional poster was machine-folded for mailing and retains the creases. Measuring 21 3/8" x 27", the poster is in excellent condition, with a tear (from age and the machine fold) in the middle right.
