AUCTION - Grateful Dead - Anthem of the Sun - 1968 Handbill - Lake Tahoe - Excellent

Please check out this extremely rare, original concert handbill for the Grateful Dead. It's from their performance at the Kings Beach Bowl on the North Shore of Lake Tahoe, CA on July 12-13, 1968. Although we don't have the setlist, we can make an educated guess based on the fact that their album "Anthem of the Sun" was released just five days after these shows. Songs like "New Potato Caboose," "That's It for The Other One," "Born Cross-Eyed," and "Alligator," among others, were likely performed. This is only the second example of this handbill that we have seen in over 30 years. These concerts are different from the well-known "Trip and Ski" Lake Tahoe image. We don't have a poster, just the handbill. It measures approximately 8 5/8" x 11" and is in excellent condition, with only some handling, edge tears, and tape stains. It's a real find!
