This original cardboard concert poster was produced by Golden Star Promotions, which mainly put on shows north of San Francisco. This particular one is for Fairfax Park Pavilion in Marin County, CA. Billed as "Marin County's No. 1 Dance Hall'', the Pavilion played host to the Harbinger Complex, the Pullice, and the Beat-Ables. All fantastic band names. The show date was March 17th, 1967. The artwork is by Half Badd, who produced quite a few Golden Star Promotions posters and this one is No. 13. Really great sepia-tone portrait at the top, too. This pretty scarce poster measures 14" x 22". The piece is in Excellent condition, with corner issues, including bends, tack holes, and one rounded corner, two inches above which is a half-inch tear, toning, and writing on the reverse in green marker. Looks splendid. Only a few hundred were ever likely printed, as Golden Star print runs don't compare to the Fillmore or the Avalon at the time.
