AUCTION - FD-50 - The Doors - Victor Moscoso - Avalon Ballroom - 1967 Concert Uncut Postcards - Good
These postcards are nicknamed "Break on Through," named after the Doors' first single. While the song initially flopped nationally, it received significant airplay in its hometown of Los Angeles and surrounding areas. The song's catchy hook is prominently featured in Victor Moscoso's artwork. In total, artist Victor Moscoso created four Doors posters for the Family Dog between 1967 and 1968, and these posters are among the most popular due to their striking designs and their connection to the early phase of Jim Morrison and the band.
This uncut sheet of six postcards is in good condition, although it has multiple horizontal bends, handling marks, some discoloration, and edge wear. The dimensions are 14" x 16 1/4".
