AUCTION - FD-26-RP-2 - Grateful Dead - Stanley Mouse Signed - Avalon Ballroom - 1966 Poster - Excellent

Here it is the classic quintessential Grateful Dead concert poster, known as FD-26, featuring the Grateful Dead and Oxford Circle performing live at the Avalon Ballroom. The concert dates are September 16-17, 1966. The incredible "Skeleton & Roses" design was created by Alton Kelley and Stanley Mouse. As a bonus, Stanley Mouse has personally signed this poster in black ink in the bottom left corner.

This poster is a second print, produced just a couple of months after the original due to its growing popularity. Today, this image is one of the most sought-after in the poster world. The poster measures 14 1/4" x 20".

Condition: Excellent – it has a pinhole in each corner and at the top center. There is some edge wear on the top and both sides, along with tape stains and residue on the reverse. Additionally, there is a small tear near the top center and a couple of small stains on the right border near the top. Despite these imperfections, this is still a beautiful poster that would frame nicely.
