We are very pleased to offer Stanley Mouse's Five Men in a Boat. This is one of the very few Avalon Ballroom posters that was never reprinted, making it particularly difficult to find. Mouse designed this split fountain poster for shows featuring Bo Diddley & The Sons of Adam at the Avalon Ballroom in San Francisco, in 1966. Chet Helms printed only 1000 copies of this first & only original printing. The split fountain process can vary considerably throughout the print run. Many lack the orange & have just the red without the progression to orange. The poster measures about 20" x 12 1/2". The copy offered here is in very good condition with four horizontal folds and 2 small stains in the lower right corner and writing on the reverse. You will not be disappointed to add this very desirable poster to your collection.
