AUCTION - FD-13 - Captain Beefheart 1966 Handbill - Avalon Ballroom - Near Mint 

Offered here is a beautiful, early, original handbill from the Family Dog series. This is FD-13 featuring Captain Beefheart and His Magic Band as well as the Oxford Circle. The shows were held on June 17-18, 1966 at the Avalon Ballroom. Fun design by Stanley Mouse and Elton Kelley. This handbill is very scarce, especially in this condition. The handbill measures 5 3/4" X 8 1/2". Condition - Near Mint, with a couple of tiny stains on the reverse.
