AUCTION - Dick Dale - Band Signed - 1982 Poster - Los Angeles - Excellent

Check out this awesome monochrome poster advertising a 1982 show by the legendary Dick Dale, the King of Surf Music guitar. Accompanied by his band, the Deltones (featuring his son on drums), Dick Dale performed at Bojangles, a nightclub in the LA area, on July 23, 1982. The opening act, The Mighty Surf Midgets From Hell, definitely stand out with their outrageous name! During the early 1980s, Dick Dale experienced a resurgence in popularity. He was famous for creating and perfecting the surf guitar sound, often naming his riffs after different types of waves. The poster measures 11" x 17" and is in excellent condition, with some handling and tape stains on the back. As an added bonus, Dick Dale himself has hand-signed the piece on top of the guitar! This poster is a super cool piece from a true pioneer.
