AUCTION - David Bowie - 1984 Cardboard Poster - LA Forum - Excellent

This cardboard concert poster up for auction is for a pair of shows by David Bowie at the Los Angeles Forum. The show dates were August 14–15, 1984. The album being promoted was Bowie's "Let's Dance" LP (1983) and the poster features a black-and-white version of its cover. Printed in LA by Colby Poster Printing Co., complete with the union bug. Classic "Boxing Poster" design, with a really nice echo of the album cover photo, which has David Bowie with boxing gloves on. This cardboard concert poster measures 14" x 22". The piece is in Excellent condition, with edge wear, a light corner bend, corner wear at the bottom right, and handling. These card stock posters mostly got put up and suffered the accompanying wear and tear. This poster was never put up and it shows. No tack or pinholes. No tape residue or pulls. Gorgeous.
