We are pleased to offer this fantastic original concert poster from the Vulcan Gas Company in Austin, TX. Cataloged as VG-21, this piece features performances by Canned Heat, Conqueroo, and the Shivas Head Band from May 10–11, 1968. The vibrant, psychedelic artwork was created by Gilbert Shelton, the legendary artist who later achieved fame for his underground comic, The Fabulous Furry Freak Brothers. Measuring 21 3/4" x 27 5/8", this poster is in excellent condition, featuring only a small tear and bend in the upper right corner, along with light edge wear along the bottom. It is a stunning original work by one of the era’s most celebrated cartoonists.
