AUCTION - Black Panther Party - Kathleen Cleaver - 1968 Political Poster - Very Good

This is a rare, original poster featuring Kathleen Cleaver of the Black Panther Party. She was married to Eldridge Cleaver, one of the founders of the Panthers, and served as their communications secretary. The poster is from her campaign for a State Assembly office and includes the Black Panther logo in the top left corner.

A striking photograph of Cleaver is prominently displayed, along with the powerful slogan "All Power to the People, Black Power to Black People" boldly printed at the top. This makes the poster not only visually striking but also historically significant.

The poster is in very good condition, measures 17 1/2" x 22 13/15" and comes rolled. It shows signs of handling, including tack holes in each corner and a 1/2" tear on the right side, but remains an absolute classic and is very rare.
