This is a highly sought-after original concert poster from the Fillmore series, featuring the Velvet Underground with Nico and The Exploding Plastic Inevitable. The concert dates were May 27-29, 1966, making this a notable early performance that included Andy Warhol. The opening band was the Mothers of Invention, led by Frank Zappa. The artwork is by Wes Wilson and the poster measures 14" x 20".

Condition: The poster has been lightly glued to a foam core board and has tack holes in each corner. There is some toning and light staining present. However, it can be professionally removed from the board and cleaned to look almost as good as new. This poster remains in nice, original example of the Velvet Underground's first appearance in San Francisco.
