AUCTION - BG-197 - Grateful Dead - Jefferson Airplane - Bonnie MacLean - 1969 Poster - Winterland - Near Mint

We are pleased to offer this original first-printing San Francisco concert poster for the Grateful Dead, Jefferson Airplane, and the Sons of Champlin, who performed at Winterland on October 24 and 25, 1969. Known as BG-197 in the Bill Graham series and designed by Bonnie MacLean, the artwork features a haunting photo montage embellished with chalkboard-style lettering. The design includes evocative imagery—such as a moon, an airplane, a butterfly, and a haunted tree—alongside the faces of the musicians, including a clear depiction of Jerry Garcia playing guitar in the lower left. This poster measures 14" x 21 1/16" and is in near mint condition.
