AUCTION - BG-171 - Grateful Dead - Jefferson Airplane - Randy Tuten Signed - Winterland/Fillmore West - 1969 Uncut Postcards - Excellent

This is an uncut postcard sheet signed by Randy Tuten in silver pen. It features a concert postcard for the Grateful Dead and Jefferson Airplane, who headlined performances at both the Fillmore West and Winterland from Thursday to Sunday, May 1-4, 1969. This postcard sheet is known as BG-171 in the Bill Graham numbered series and was signed in silver ink by its creator, Randy Tuten.

Tuten's artwork illustrates a man in a flowing robe, looking up toward a biplane flying overhead—an early symbol of the Airplane dating back to BG-1. The sheet measures 14 5/8" x 14 5/8" and is in Excellent condition, showing some handling and corner bends. The reverse side has one tape pull and light tape remnants.
