AUCTION - BG-140 - Jimi Hendrix Experience - Rick Griffin - 1968 Poster - Winterland - Excellent

Offered here is an original first-printing concert poster for the Jimi Hendrix Experience, the Buddy Miles Express, and Dino Valenti at the Winterland Ballroom, held October 10–12, 1968. Cataloged as BG-140 in the Bill Graham series, this iconic piece is a true collaboration between legendary artists Rick Griffin and Victor Moscoso. The two worked side-by-side on the art boards, drawing inspiration from their shared work on Zap Comix to create the imagery for both BG-140 and BG-141.

The poster measures 14 1/8" x 21 1/2". Condition: Excellent—with light edge wear, a bend in the lower right,  corner wear with two small pieces of tape on the reverse.
