Here is a very cool psychedelic poster designed by Fillmore artist, Lee Conklin. The poster was created to promote a 1968 Fillmore West concert featuring Canned Heat, Gordon Lightfoot & San Francisco based Cold Blood with Lydia Pense. The poster features a toilet bowel with the words gushing out from the toilet. The poster was deliberately printed off register to create a trippy effect. This poster is referred to as BG-139-OP-1 in Eric King’s Guide to psychedelic poster art. It is the original first & only printing. It measures about 21” X 14 1/8” and has been signed in black sharpie by Lee Conklin. The poster is in beautiful near mint/mint condition.
