AUCTION - BG-105 - Jimi Hendrix - Rick Griffin - 1st Print 1968 Poster - Fillmore/Winterland - Very Good

Here it is, one of the most sought-after posters of all time. This original, first-print poster features BG105, "The Flying Eyeball," with psychedelic artwork by Rick Griffin. The Jimi Hendrix Experience, John Mayall, and Albert King all played for four nights, February 1-4, 1968. This true classic measures 14" X 21 1/2".

Condition: Very Good - has pinholes in all four corners, as well as the top and bottom center. A few of the pinholes have torn through to the edge. There is handling and bending, and tape pulls on the reverse. A small blemish is present under the far left position of the large "4" at the bottom center and a light stain in the upper right on the reverse. While not perfect, it remains a good example of one of the cornerstones of sixties psychedelic art.
