AUCTION - AOR 4.222 - Grateful Dead Bo Diddley - Hells Angels - 1972 Poster - Academy of Music NYC - Rough

Original 1st printing silkscreen concert poster for a show featuring the Grateful Dead and Bo Diddley appearing together at the Academy of Music in New York City on March 25, 1972. This was Donna Godchaux's first official appearance as a member of the Grateful Dead. Pictured in the Art of Rock book on page 404 plate 4.222 and was printed with extra-bright fluorescent ink.

The poster is in rough condition, it has been mounted on a stiff board and trimmed on the bottom ("New York City" is missing). It measures  16 3/4" x 22 5/8"  original poster measures 17 7/8 x 24 1/4"). There is  "The Sons" promotional poster on the reverse.
