AUCTION - AOR 4.161 - Grateful Dead - 1970 Day-Glo Poster - Panther Hall Texas - Near Mint

Presented here is a highly sought-after original silkscreen concert poster for the Grateful Dead’s historic performance at Panther Hall in Fort Worth, Texas, on February 20, 1970—the band’s sole appearance at this venue. Sharing the bill with the legendary Quicksilver Messenger Service, this vibrant piece is recognized as a scarce and essential collectible.

Pictured in The Art of Rock on page 383 (plate 4.161), this poster features remarkably vivid, bright colors that far exceed the quality of its print representation in the book.

Measuring 22 1/8” x 28”, this specimen is in Near Mint condition, displaying only minor handling marks. Given its rarity and fragility, this is the finest example we have ever had the privilege to offer—a true centerpiece for any premier Grateful Dead or Texas concert poster collection.
