AUCTION - AOR 3.97 - Grateful Dead - 1968 Handbill - San Diego - CGC Graded 9.4

We are pleased to offer the 1st and only CGC Graded & Certified copy of this elusive & very popular Grateful Dead handbill. The show was called the Autumn Equinox and was held at the Del Mar Fairgrounds in San Diego. The show was highlighted by the Grateful Dead with back up by Quicksilver, Buddy Miles Express, Sons of Champlin, Taj Mahal and more. The handbill is featured in the Art of Rock as plate number AOR 3.97. The very talented Rebecca Galdeano did the art, as she did for many San Diego shows. The measurements are approximately 8” x 5 ¼”. As this is the highest known grade to date at CGC 9.4, we do expect some spirited bidding on this one!
