AUCTION - AOR 3.27 - Grateful Dead - 1968 Handbill - Selland Arena, Fresno - Very Good
This is an original concert handbill for the Grateful Dead's performance in Fresno, CA, at Selland Arena. Also performing was Country Joe and the Fish. The date of the concert was February 17, 1968. The design was created by Cheryl Rankin. This handbill is featured in "The Art of Rock" book on page 263, plate 3.27, which includes great photos of both bands, along with a note mentioning that Cream would be performing in about three weeks.
The handbill measures 7" x 10.5". Its condition is very good, with some toning throughout. There are tape stains on the reverse side, a single pinhole at the top center above the "c" in "CO," a small hole in the top right border, and a tear in the upper right corner of the red area.
