AUCTION - AOR 2.80 - Ornette Coleman - 1968 Poster - Fillmore West - Excellent

We are pleased to offer this original concert poster for jazz legend Ornette Coleman’s performance at the Fillmore West on August 5, 1968. Featuring a clever design by artist Dorè, the artwork incorporates Ornette Coleman’s own sheet music beneath sharp, stylized lettering. This iconic piece is featured in the Art of Rock book on page 153, plate 2.80. It measures 14" x 20 3/16" and is in Excellent condition, with a single tiny pinhole in each corner and two additional pinholes located just above the first "c" in the word "concert."
