AUCTION - AOR 2.74 - Grateful Dead Benefit Fillmore 1966 Handbill - Excellent
Offered here is a scarce original handbill for a benefit concert held at the Fillmore auditorium. The benefit was for a short-lived folk/jazz club known as the Both/And. The bands included Jefferson Airplane, the Great Society, Wildflower, and sunrise surprise drop-in guest the Grateful Dead. Dated September 11, 1966, the handbill measures 8 1/2" X 11". Pictured in the Art of Rock book on page 151, plate 2.74. In Excellent condition, with light handling along the top and four tape stains on the reverse and light toning. Really sharp.
