AUCTION - AOR 2.74 - Grateful Dead - 1966 Benefit Poster - Fillmore Auditorium - Excellent

Offered here is a scarce original poster for a benefit concert held at the Fillmore Auditorium. The benefit was for a short-lived folk/jazz club known as the Both/And. The bands included Jefferson Airplane, the Great Society (with Grace Slick), Wildflower, Big Mama Thornton and surprise drop-in guest the Grateful Dead. Dated September 11, 1966, pictured in the Art of Rock book on page 151, plate 2.74.

In Excellent condition, with a set of staple holes and tape in the corners, handling bends and some foxing in the upper left. Rare and early.
